We are celebrating another fantastic achievement at FG Burnett as two of our Trainee Surveyors have recently passed their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to qualify as Chartered Surveyors and become Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), marking a significant milestone in their careers.
Sam Hunter joined our Building Consultancy team in May 2022. Since then, Sam has gained experience across a broad range of instructions, including measured surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidations, and project-led work. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and client engagement, both of which Sam has developed significantly during his time with the company.
Evie L’Estrange joined the company in November 2022 within our Property Management team. During this time, Evie has built a strong understanding of property management, assisting with the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio. This has included landlord and tenant liaison, overseeing maintenance works, and supporting the delivery of effective asset management strategies for clients.
Sam comments: “Passing the APC is a huge milestone for me. The support from the team has been invaluable, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that have really helped build my experience and confidence.”
Evie comments: “I’m really pleased to have passed the APC. It’s been a challenging but rewarding process, and I’ve learned a great deal from colleagues across the business. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow in my role.”
FG Burnett Managing Director, Graeme Nisbet said: “This is a fantastic achievement for both Sam and Evie and a reflection of the hard work and commitment they have shown throughout their training. Supporting our people through the APC process is something we take great pride in, and it’s very rewarding to see them reach this important milestone. I look forward to seeing their continued development as qualified surveyors. Both Sam and Evie have demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to their development throughout the APC process. We congratulate them on this excellent achievement and look forward to their continued success within the business.”
