Lisa is a Surveyor in our Agency Department and covers a broad range of sectors including office, industrial and retail. She advises property owners, purchasers and tenants in relation to their property requirements.

Outwith work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two daughers. She is a qualified gym instructor who enjoys keeping fit and has been active in Girl Guiding for many years.

After a number of years in the military, Corrie moved to a Facilities Management and Security/Risk Consultant role. Corrie joined FG Burnett in 2021 as Director and Head of Commercial Property Management. In his role, Corrie provides advice to both landlord and tenant clients on the wide range of commercial property management services. Corrie is a member of the Insititute of Workplace and FM and Institute of Royal Engineers.

In his spare time, Corrie enjoys hillwalking, DIY and motorbikes....making the annual pilgrimage to the Isle of Man TT is a must!

Richard has specialised in business rates for over 15 years covering all types of commercial property across Scotland. Richard works with clients to realise savings and minimise liability as far as possible, including challenging rateable values, negotiating settlements through the appeal process, obtaining rates relief and providing tailored advice. Richard is also involved in Compulsory Purchase compensation claims and is a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association.

Richard represents both property owners and occupiers of commercial property across a diverse range of sectors, including specialist oil and gas facilities and airports. Richard began his career in the local assessors office and that experience serves him well in providing expert advice to maximise value for clients.

In downtime, Richard relishes time with family and friends, cooking and finishing the leftovers. From an early age Richard has followed his hometown club Sheffield United and the rollercoaster of emotions continue!

Iona is a Director and Chartered Building Surveyor within the Building Consultancy department after joining FG Burnett as a graduate from Robert Gordon University in 2013. Through gaining vast experience in the department over the years, Iona has worked her way up through the business and continues to provide all of our Building Consultancy services in this key position.

Iona provides her expertise to clients across our vast range of services in the Building Consultancy department whilst also leading the Energy Team. Iona is heavily involved in ensuring clients comply with the energy regulations and also keeps on top of any developments in Scotland’s energy regulations in relation to non-domestic buildings.

Outside of the office, Iona spends her free time renovating a country croft to be her forever home.

Iain is a Director with over 28 years’ experience in commercial valuation. Iain acts for a wide range of clients and his remit includes the valuation of private and public sector property for a variety of purposes including secured lending, accounts, pension fund, taxation, acquisition, pre-sale and dispute.

Away from work, Iain loves spending time with his family, going on cruises, playing golf and skipping the FGB curling team.

Nick is a Graduate Surveyor who works within the Commercial Valuation and Business Rates teams at FG Burnett. He has experience working within the planning sector before completing a Master’s in Real Estate Investment & Finance from Heriot-Watt University. Nick is working towards completing his APC in Commercial Valuation. Nick also provides support to the Compulsory Purchase team and is a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association as well as CoreNet Global.

Nick brings a range of knowledge of various softwares used within the industry, including those used for valuation and development appraisal purposes. Working within the Valuation and Ratings team, Nick is exposed to a wide range of commercial property types including specialist properties such as whisky distilleries.

Away from the office, Nick enjoys being outdoors either for a hike or a bike ride with his partner and on the rainy days, visiting museums and supporting small businesses – especially those that make very nice food!

Sam is a Graduate Building Surveyor within the Building Consultancy Team.

In his role, Sam assists the Building Consultancy department with measured surveys, dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants, and taking up Contract Administration roles within multiple commercial projects across Aberdeen and the Shire.

Away from work Sam enjoys playing football for local team Westdyke Amateurs, spending time with friends and family and endures the lifestyle that is supporting Aberdeen FC!

Jim is an Executive Director and Heads up the Building Consultancy Department of FG Burnett. Jim has over 20 years post qualification experience in Building Surveying throughout Scotland.

Jim undertakes all aspects of Building Surveying however is possibly best well known locally for his work for both Landlords and Tenants when dealing with dilapidations as well as Project Monitoring new builds and significant refurbishments.

Outwith work Jim practised Tae Kwon Do for in excess of 17 years, attaining the rank of 4^th Degree Black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Jim is a keen mountain biker and can be found most weekends trying to keep it rubber side down – failing quite regularly!

Evie is a Graduate Surveyor, having recently graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a MA (Hons) in Business Management and Real Estate. In her role, Evie is working predominantly in our Commercial Property Management Department but is gaining experience across other departments as part of her APC.

Outside of work, Evie loves fashion and textiles - both producing her own distinct creations as well as styling and collecting unique vintage pieces. Evie also enjoys a good road trip and exploring small towns and cities alike.

Jonathan in an Executive Director with in excess of 21 years’ experience in commercial property agency in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland. Jonathan’s remit extends to agency advice, both acquisition and disposals, rent reviews and lease restructuring. Jonathan has responsibility for industrial agency with a remit to expand this department. Jonathan also has board responsibility for Property Management Department. In addition to being MRICS, Jonathan is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Jonathan represents a wide range of clients, including many global energy companies relative to their occupational strategy in addition to institutional funds and Property Companies in their disposal strategies.

Away from work, Jonathan likes to spend time with family and friends, playing golf - badly and guitar - even worse, and is a keen follower of Irish rugby and Tottenham Hotspur – Jonathan is familiar with hope and despair in equal measure!

Graeme is an Executive Director with in excess of 20 years’ experience in commercial development, office and industrial agency fields and has overall responsibility for the Agency team at FG Burnett

Graeme has vast experience in portfolio strategy and has undertaken significant property consolidation and leasehold acquisitions for a range of mixed sector clients. Graeme is a RICS Registered Valuer and also involved in Development appraisals. Graeme has also been heavily involved in lease renewals representing both landlords and tenants interests negotiating to a successful conclusion.

Away from the office Graeme enjoys a number of sporting activities including golf, skiing and the gym. In addition to sport, Graeme likes socialising, travelling and extending his wine knowledge!

Richard is Managing Director of FG Burnett and has been active in the Scottish Commercial Property market for over 35 years. A specialist in the retail property sector– agency, development , investment and lease advisory work. He is an experienced rent review surveyor and a well-respected arbitrator and independent expert and is also a RICS Registered Valuer.

Richard acts for both landlords and tenants with interests on the high street and retail parks throughout Scotland. In line with recent trends he has been involved in development and lettings involving convenience store occupiers, discount retailers and drive thru operators.

Passionate about the role of our town and city centres, Richard is past Chairman of Aberdeen Inspired (Aberdeen’s City Centre BID).

Away from the office Richard enjoys doting on his granddaughter Evie, playing golf and walking his dogs. Time spent in the East Neuk of Fife is the best!

Keith has been with FGB since 1982. He was previously a Partner/Director and then in 2003, he decided to take (very) early retirement and since then has been employed as a Consultant. From a professional services perspective, he has been primarily involved in the inspection and valuation of a wide variety of both commercial and residential real estate properties for many different purposes including secured lending, taxation, incorporation within financial statements and acquisition/disposal purposes.

Since 2003, Keith has concentrated on the valuation of specialised property assets, particularly those within the Scottish NHS estate, whereby the complex Depreciated Replacement Cost method of valuation is employed. In addition, Keith has over 45 years of experience regarding the compulsory purchase of property and the associated assessment and negotiation of financial compensation claims and is now regarded as one of the leading surveyors in Scotland regarding this type of niche work. In 2023, Keith was made an Honorary Member of the Compulsory Purchase Association. In addition, almost since Keith started with FGB he has been actively involved in encouraging and supporting the younger members of staff to obtain chartered status and to develop their career through the RICS' APC process and continues to take great delight when they qualify.

Away from the office, Keith enjoys his family life, reading, listening to a wide variety of music and pottering in the garden. Golf, which used to form a large part of his sporting life, is a distant memory apart from the odd social game.

Radek graduated from the RGU in 2020 and worked for a period of 6 months as an Architectural Surveyor. Radek joined the Building Consultancy Team at FG Burnett as a Graduate Building Surveyor and is currently working towards his APC to become qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Away from work Radek enjoys various DIY projects and getting away for weekends out of town.

Shona has a dual role at FG Burnett - providing administration support to our busy Rating Department and is also part of our Reception team.

Away from work, Shona spends most of her waking hours being a taxi driver to her teenage boys! Shona is a proud season ticket holder at Murrayfield and enjoys following the fortunes of our national rugby team.

Gillian joined FG Burnett in 2018 in the role of Company Financial Controller / Office Manager.

Away from work Gillian likes spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and going to the theatre. Loves to travel to sunnier places, with Orlando being the favourite holiday destination.

Allison is Secretary and provides administration support to the company's Commercial Valuation Department.

In her leisure time, Allison likes to keep fit and enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren and going on family holidays abroad.

Rose is a Senior Property Management Accountant within the Property Management Department and has been with FG Burnett for over 20 years.

Away from work, Rose enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and enjoys her summer holidays in Turkey.

Yvette is Secretary within the Agency Department and provides administration support to that team.

Out with work, Yvette enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and horseriding.

Doreen is as a Property Management Accountant within our Commercial Property Management team.

Away from work, Doreen enjoys spending time with her family, socialising and going on holidays in the sun!

Karen joined FG Burnett in 2015, initially as Secretary for our Property Management and Building Consultancy Teams and then moved to the role of Marketing Administrator and PA to the Managing Director.

Away from work, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and walking her Cavapoo, Louis. Visiting the local dog friendly coffee shops is a must!

Jill joined the company in 2015 and provides administration support to the company's Commercial Valuation and CPO teams.

Away from the office, Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks in the local countryside and pottering around in the garden.
